We visited The Last Bookstore – a quirky, independent bookstore located in Downtown Los Angeles.
At 22,000 square feet, The Last Bookstore is the largest new and used bookstore in California and attracts not only bibliophiles but also social media users.
This is a place where books and art intertwine.
You’ll find intricately designed archways made from repurposed books; a labyrinth of towering bookshelves; book spines arranged in mesmerizing patterns; whimsical installations; and not to mention a famous book tunnel.
While I found myself literally lost within the aisles of the store (pun intended), book lovers on the other hand would be lost differently – that is in the treasure trove of literary gems waiting to be discovered. There are rare finds, beloved classics as well as vintage editions and contemporary bestsellers.
The store also sells other vintage goods like records, cameras and more.
Whether you visit the store to be inspired or just to snap a few selfies or TikToks, The Last Bookstore in Los Angeles is a fun and interesting place to visit. Some couples even get married at the bookstore!
