Greenpoint Brooklyn’s Best Kept Secret – The Richardson

With all the pop-ups and new bars emerging, the concept of a long-standing neighborhood bar with its own unique charm can be few and far between, but has never looked better.

Greenpoint, Brooklyn’s best-kept secret is a neighborhood institution that has been offering craft cocktails and perfectly executed bites since 2008.

The Richardson offers that unpretentious atmosphere that they all crave, but with an elevated selection of drinks and bites.

Located on the corner of Graham Ave and Richardson St, this Brooklyn gem offers a sweeping, seasonally-driven cocktail menu, a selection of whiskies, wines, mezcals and spirits galore, and elevated bar bites.

Whether you’re deciding between one of their many signature cocktails, a glass of orange wine or anything in between, the staff is warm, welcoming and excited to guide your order decision.

From a rotating frozen cocktail option, to gin and tonics, non alcoholic options, every whiskey under the sun or whatever your preferred toast, The Richardson has it.

Standout options are some not so classic cocktails like The Sharevari Stomp made with cherry, oloroso sherry, americano apéritif wine, peychaud and orange bitters and 101-proof rye whiskey.

Or, try a twist on the ever popular espresso martini with the Espress Yo’ Self, made with Italian coffee liqueur, créme de cacao, espresso, orange cognac and American corn vodka.

For those of us who can’t get enough frozen cocktails, TheRichardson has you covered with a rotating frozen cocktail option.

This summer, try the Blue Raspberry Beret made with lemon, pear, banana, lily tea, blue spirulina and demerara rums.

Guests are invited to enjoy their rare whiskies, single batch mezcals and craft cocktails with house-prepared bar bites.

From house-cured greek olives to Smokey Pigs in a Blanket made with garlic kielbasa, puff pastry and whole grain mustard, these dishes aren’t done fancy, just done right.
