We stayed at the Hampton Inn by Hilton Chilliwack for a short weekend getaway and found it to be a comfortable and straightforward stay. The property offers complimentary hot breakfast, free parking and an indoor pool with a waterslide. For a family trip, having these included helps keep the cost of the stay more manageable.
The hotel is on Lickman Road, just off Highway 1, with Chilliwack Heritage Park about five minutes away. The location works well for families travelling by car, with easy access to the highway for outings around the area.
Our room with two queen beds was well appointed and clean.
The bathroom seemed a bit dated but reasonable.
The complimentary hot breakfast is a useful part of the stay. For a family of four, it saves the cost of eating out each morning and gives everyone a chance to eat before heading out for the day. Breakfast is served buffet style and included hot items like omelets and French Toast sticks outside of the usual cereal and pastries.

The appeal for me is having breakfast, parking and an activity for the children at the same property. It makes Hampton Inn Chilliwack worth considering for a short family trip, particularly when the plan is to spend much of the day visiting the surrounding area.
