For a blogger, Pinterest group boards are a great way to boost your pin’s visibility. As my blog is new, I have been working to join as many Pinterest group boards as possible to reach more audiences.

How to become a contributor to a group board

There are three main ways to become a contributor to a group board. The instructions to join the group board are noted on the group board’s profile.

1. Hit the “Request to Join” button

Some group boards will have a “Request to join” button at the top. You can simply hit the button to make a request to the owner, but also double-check what other requirements are noted in the group board description.

2. Contact the group board owner

Some group boards owners will ask you to contact them directly in order to become a contributor. You might need to email them directly, send them a DM on Pinterest, comment on one of their boards or pins, fill out an online form and so forth.

3. Get an invite from someone who is contributing to that board

If you have a friend who has access to a group board which allows members to invite friends, ask your friend for an invite!

Please note that while you do make requests to join the group board, it doesn’t guarantee that the owner will accept your request. It is at the discretion of the group board owner.

The more requests you make to more group boards, the higher the chance that you will gain access to one or more.
