Thirty years ago, the Taves started the Applebarn in Abbotsford, BC, with the dream of providing a farm-fun experience centered around the gifts of fall.
Since then, Taves Farm has become one of the most visited family-friendly attractions in the Fraser Valley where visitors enjoy U-pick and many of the onsite activities. It’s where you get a taste of the country in the Fraser Valley.
We had an amazing time visiting Taves Farm where we enjoyed the Hay ride; visiting the Petting Barn; exploring the Pumpkin Patch; picking our own apples; cozying up from a warm cup of apple cider; and more.
You can take a walk along the Pumpkin Path for some fun selfies and then get lost in the Corn Maze.
Not to be missed is Taves Estate Cidery where you can enjoy a tasting flight and apple cider slushies.
Be sure to check out the Applebarn Country Store where you can pick up apples; farm-fresh vegetables; homemade apple, pumpkin and fruit pies; preserves and pickles; and more. I went home with their apple cider, fresh pressed apple juice and some apple salsa.
Be sure to pick up a complimentary barrel to use on the farm to carry the apples or pumpkins.
I really appreciated the family-friendly environment, organized space, and variety of things to do on the farm. We spent a few hours at the farm with the kids and have a wonderful time.
