CitizenM Seattle South Lake Union (Opening 2020)
Opening in 2020 is CitizenM Seattle South Lake Union, a modern property for modern travelers, featuring affordable luxury, ultra-comfortable beds, 24/7 food and drinks and colorful décor. All 264 rooms are identical in size and amenities.
2019 Newly Opened Hotels
The State Hotel
In March 2019, The State Hotel opened in the historic Eitel Building next to Pike Place Market. The 90-room hotel features an 8th floor rooftop terrace overlooking the Market, as well as a new American restaurant, Ben Paris.

2018 Newly Opened Hotels
Hyatt Regency Seattle
The new 1,260-room Hyatt Regency Seattle is now Seattle’s largest hotel and one of the biggest on the West Coast. Opened in December 2018, this premium service hotel is located in the heart of downtown Seattle between Stewart and Howell streets and Eighth and Ninth Avenues.
The Sound Hotel Seattle Belltown
The Sound Hotel and Currant Bistro in the Belltown neighbourhood features 142 guest rooms located on the first 10 floors of a 42-story mixed-use building with rental apartments.
The Sound Hotel Seattle Belltown also features a new restaurant, Currant Bistro, and a bar and lounge with 770 square feet of meeting space on the 7th floor with unobstructed views of the Space Needle.
Palihotel Seattle
Los Angeles-based Palisociety opened up Palihotel Seattle, an independent boutique hotel with 96 rooms, a restaurant, bar and coffee shop and just steps away from Pike Place Market.
Their design is eclectic, yet approachable, with contemporary features and amenities. Their restaurant, The Hart and the Hunter, is a southern-inspired eatery with Pacific Northwest ingredients and flavors.
The Charter Hotel – Curio Collection by Hilton
Opened in 2018, The Charter Hotel is located at Stewart St. and Second Ave. near Pike Place Market. The 229-room hotel features a 2,500 square-foot fitness center, Patagon, an Argentinian restaurant, and Fog Room, an exclusive rooftop lounge.
Hilton Garden Inn Seattle/Bellevue Downtown
The Hilton Garden Inn is located in Bellevue, just a few blocks from the central shopping district. The 254-room hotel features complimentary WiFi, an on-site restaurant and bar, an indoor heated pool and a 24-hour fitness center.
EVEN Hotel & Staybridge Suites Lake Union
EVEN Hotel and Staybridge Suites opened April 2018 in South Lake Union, in side-by-side properties. The EVEN Hotel features 123 guest rooms, and Staybridge Suites offers 112 suites. They share Cork & Kale, a bar and lounge area, a grab-and-go breakfast bar, and an outdoor patio and seating area.

Moxy Seattle Downtown
Moxy Seattle Downtown by Marriott International is a new hotel and hotel concept near the new Amazon headquarters. The boutique hotel has 146 smaller-than-normal rooms and is described as “spirited and fun.”
Residence Inn Seattle SeaTac/Airport
The Residence Inn Seattle SeaTac/Airport oversees Angle Lake and is near Seattle-Tacoma International Airport. Residence Inn properties are specially-designed for long stays, with fully equipped kitchens, free internet and free hot breakfast.

Hotel Interurban offers a boutique atmosphere while being in close proximity to the Seattle-Tacoma International Airport.
