One of the most popular fundraising summer events, the Great Galena Balloon Race 2022 returns to Eagle Ridge Resort & Spa in The Galena Territory. Weekend events will take place from Fri. June 17 through Sun. June 19, 2022 over Father’s Day weekend and will benefit the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF) of Eastern Iowa and Camp Hertko Hollo.
Eagle Ridge Resort & Spa is the host sponsor for the balloon race, and all activities take place on the North Course Practice Range at the resort. Since 2002, the weekend events surrounding the Great Galena Balloon Race have raised over $350,000 for JDRF and Camp Hertko Hollow, which uses the money to fund research to find a cure for Juvenile Diabetes.

Admission:
